A long-established Perth business has unveiled a fresh new identity. What began as a family business over 25 years ago has now entered a bold new chapter. Highland Homestyle, founded in 1997 by Alan Turner and his business partner, Jim Klatschak, has officially rebranded as Cairnview Windows & Doors. A name that resonates stronger with its valued customers and better reflects the company’s specialist focus and trusted reputation.
Today, the business is proudly led by Alan’s daughter, Cheryl Turner, who took her first steps into the trade at just 17 and has grown to become a respected expert in the industry. Under her leadership, the company has transitioned from general joinery to specialising in high-quality windows and doors, with additional expertise in conservatory roofs and roofline installations. This journey has allowed the team to refine their craft, strengthen their reputation, and remain true to the family values the business was built on.
Cheryl’s partner, Mike Anderson, also plays a key role in the business as Installations Director, helping to uphold the standards of quality and professionalism that Cairnview is known for.
The rebrand not only reflects a shift in services, it also clears up a common misconception. “We were no longer offering general joinery, and we’re not based in the Highlands,” Cheryl explains. “People were often confused by the old name, so this felt like the right time for a refresh.”
Based in Perth, Cairnview serves customers across Perthshire, Fife, Angus and often further afield. Their location means they’re regularly called out to rural homes and harder-to-reach properties, where national chains often fall short on service. “What sets us apart is the care, attention and honesty we offer,” says Cheryl. “We’re not about the hard sell, we’re about doing what’s right for each customer.”
Cairnview is also proud to be a female-led business in a traditionally male-dominated industry. Cheryl’s early lessons from her father, especially the importance of always putting the customer first remain the foundation of everything they do.
Now a new generation has joined the journey. Cheryl and Mike’s children, Keira and Euan Anderson, have recently come on board as Operations Lead and Order Processor, marking an exciting new chapter in this growing family enterprise.
With a dedicated showroom in Perth, Cairnview invites customers to experience its products and expert advice first-hand in a welcoming, pressure-free environment. Looking ahead, the business is focused on continually improving the customer journey, from first enquiry to final installation. Cheryl and her team are committed to becoming the most trusted and respected installer of windows and doors in the region, built on a foundation of honesty, quality and care.
